Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
RWDF-Liberia recognizes that safe water infrastructure must be accompanied by improved sanitation and hygiene.
The WASH programme may therefore support:
- Community sanitation facilities;
- Institutional sanitation;
- School WASH facilities;
- Healthcare-facility WASH;
- Handwashing facilities;
- Menstrual hygiene facilities;
- Community hygiene campaigns;
- Water-quality awareness;
- Behaviour-change communication; and
- Community-led sanitation programmes.
