Water Storage and Reservoir Development

The organization promotes increased water-storage capacity as an important component of reliable rural and peri-urban water supply.

Interventions may include the development of:

• Raw-water reservoirs;
• Reinforced-concrete reservoirs;
• Elevated storage tanks;
• Ground storage tanks;
• Earth reservoirs;
• Lined reservoirs;
• Rainwater harvesting systems; and
• Strategic community water-storage facilities.

RWDF-Liberia may support projects from preliminary feasibility studies through design, financing, procurement, construction, commissioning and post-construction monitoring.
